WHAT IS LASER THERAPY? Laser used for therapeutic purposes, is termed "cold laser" or "low-level laser", due to its stimulating effects in the body compared to the more common high heat lasers used in many surgical procedures to cut, and cauterize tissue. Low-Level Laser puts out the same coherent light energy and frequencies as human cells do.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Low-Level Laser enhances the production of ATP, which is the main energy source inside cells. The ATP is then utilized for cellular healing and tissue recovery. The overall effects are decreased pain and inflammation and the natural healing processes proceed more rapidly and more efficiently. The treatments are quick and painless. This type of Laser has been in use for over 25 years and researchers have yet to discover any side effects.

ARE ALL COLD LASERS EQUAL?
It was the Erchonia Laser that first gained FDA clearance for the treatment of pain and is widely used within the NFL and by Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong. Lance called it his secret weapon in his Tour de France victories. The Erchonia Laser has the ability to program 4 different frequencies at a time varying from 1 mhz to 10,000 mhz. Researchers have discovered that different frequencies will affect different conditions and areas of the body. There are established protocols for everything from a sore throat to Shingles to Asthma.
